About Bobby Russell

Bobby Russell is a water resources management specialist on international development projects, focusing on delivering effective capacity building for national water agencies. Currently working for Deltares as a Senior Advisor, proposal writer/director and project leader. He has previously worked as Water Resources Monitoring Specialist with the Rwanda Water and Forestry Authority. Before that he worked with the Technical University of Kenya to improve their capacity to deliver water education. He was also the Hydrologist on a river basin planning project in Moldova and worked on several other projects in Lesotho, Egypt, Malawi, Swaziland, Mongolia, Myanmar, Ukraine, Uganda and Turkey. Specialties: Integrated River Basin Management, decision support systems, catchment management, hydrology, GIS, river basin modelling, hydrometry, fluvial geomorphology.

Bobby is also the Regional Manager for Africa.
