About Arno Rozing

Arno Rozing is committed to reducing the risk of flooding in the most efficient way possible. He is committed to implementing the innovations required for this in the consultancy practice. In 1987, Arno graduated as a Civil Engineer from the Hogere Technische School in Alkmaar and specialized as a geotechnical advisor for water defences, especially dykes.

He has extensive knowledge about flood protection and can apply this knowledge into practice focusing especially on safety assessment and the design of flood protection. Stability and groundwater flow for dyke safety are his main specialties. His consultancy experience as specialist advisor includes studies / reviews on mentioned aspects for water retaining structures in the Netherlands and several other countries. His experience also concerns consultancy during calamities, second opinion consultancy, as well as supporting engineering consultant companies in the Netherlands and abroad.

He has been involved in developing several Guidelines, regulations and technical reports concerning dike safety.

He has experience in coaching and giving various lectures and courses.
