About Daan Rooze
Daan Rooze is a researcher / consultant at the intersection of urban water management and spatial planning & design. With two master degrees from Delft University of Technology in both Urban Planning (Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment) and Water Management (Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences) he combines a design background with solid technical skills. Daan works mainly on issues concerning urban climate adaptation and flood risk, with a focus on the spatial component. His aim is to combine a technical approach (data analysis, modelling) with an urban planning design approach. He has worked in the Netherlands as well as abroad. He has been working on projects in the US, Canada, India, China and various EU countries.
