About Erik de Goede
Erik de Goede is a senior consultant in the Deltares Software Centre. He is an expert in numerical modelling for three-dimensional hydrodynamic flow and transport models. He has extensive experience in the field of numerical modelling, in particular for Delft3D-FLOW. Currently, he is focusing on unstructured hydrodynamic modelling with the D-Flow Flexible Mesh module, as the successor of Delft3D-FLOW in the new Delft3D Flexible Mesh Suite (Delft3D FM). In addition to this, he is developing an ice module for Delft3D.
His practical experience is mostly related to outfall studies involving 3-dimensional hydrodynamic (salinity, temperature) and water quality models in The Netherlands and abroad. He combines an in-depth knowledge of software with a huge experience in model applications for 2D/3D hydrodynamic modelling. Mr De Goede has been involved in hydrodynamic and water quality projects in the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Scotland, Poland, Hong Kong, USA, Japan, Singapore, South Africa and the Middle East.
He has authored or co-authored more than twenty publications on mentioned subjects at international conferences and in technical journals.
