About Fabian Campos Montero

Fabian Campos Montero is a Geotechnical Engineer and Engineering Geologist working as a Consultant & Researcher mainly related with resilient infrastructure projects. He holds a Masters in Geo-Engineering from TU Delft in the Netherlands (2023) and a Licentiate in Geology with emphasis in soil and rock mechanics from the University of Costa Rica (2014). Previous work includes industry experience with slope stability and risk assessment in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Argentina and Bolivia, teaching experience in higher education, and consultancy experience for the InterAmerican Development Bank.

At Deltares, Fabian works mostly with data driven geotechnical solutions for infrastructure projects, and developing of new knowledge in applications of machine learning and generative AI in geotechnical engineering.
