About Famke Kovacs

Famke is involved in projects at Deltares related to salt intrusion near the Haringvliet Voordelta and the migration of Delft3D model versions. She is particularly interested in the pre- and post-processing of model simulations. Additionally, she enjoys integrating machine learning into physical processes. With a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Astronomy and a master’s in Climate Physics, she has a strong grasp of the physical dynamics of marine and coastal phenomena. Her programming skills in MATLAB and Python enable her to effectively analyze and interpret model data outcomes.
