About Goaitske de Vries

In her career Goaitske has always worked at the interface of science, policy and practice-based research. For example, she has gained experience in various leadership roles both inside and outside Deltares. There she has coordinated various programs, including the knowledge and innovation program at the High Water Protection Program and has been program leader of the Legal Assessment Instrumentarium for levees in the Netherlands. She enjoys connecting parties with different roles, interests and ambitions. She is powerful in translating plans and ideas into application. When innovation and change is needed, she is inspiring and facilitating.
