About Jacqueline Vink
As head of the Communications Department, Jacqueline’s responsibilities include positioning and profiling Deltares. ‘As a knowledge institute, we want to share our research, models, software, and our knowledge with as many people as possible. Our ambition is that everyone working in the field of water and subsurface, and their related infrastructure, knows who we are and what we do. We want to ensure our work is accessible, using appealing messages, knowledge, and stories that showcase what our work means in practice. We listen to those around us; what knowledge is needed, and how can we better provide it?’
Jacqueline studied communication science at Radboud University and took electives at Wageningen University & Research. She also completed several courses in the areas of communications and organisations, including corporate communications, change management, and wisdom in leadership. Jacqueline holds a master’s degree in Strategic Management from Utrecht University.
Jacqueline held several roles before joining Deltares, including as a senior strategist for a consultancy firm, head of communications at The Netherlands Nutrition Centre, head of consultancy at the Dutch Ministry of General Affairs, and as head of a staffing bureau at a hospital.
