About Jan-Joost Schouten

Mr. Jan-Joost Schouten has 15 years of experience as a project manager and consultant in multi-disciplinary offshore and coastal projects. At Deltares he initially gained experience in working with advanced numerical modelling techniques in the field of tides, waves, sediment transport and morphology. He acts as project manager for multi-disciplinary international projects in the field of coastal and offshore wind farm developments, both on consultancy and on research level.

In his present function as Head of Department of the Harbour, Coastal and Offshore Engineering group, Mr. Schouten is responsible –heading a group of approx. 35 specialists – for coordinating a large number of offshore and coastal infrastructure projects.
