About Julien Groenenboom

Julien Groenenboom is an advisor/researcher in the field of environmental hydrodynamics. By carrying out projects all over the world, he has gained extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of complex tidal, wind, and density-driven flows. His primary focus is the development and application of 3D hydrodynamic models for coastal seas and estuaries. The development and streamlining of the associated pre- and post-processing tools is something he is excited about. Over the last couple of years, Julien has provided numerous (international) training sessions on using modeling packages Delft3D 4 and Delft3D Flexible Mesh. Julien holds a MSc degree in Hydraulic Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
