About Minghao Wu
Minghao Wu works in the field of offshore engineering, focusing on scour and scour protection around offshore infrastructures such as offshore wind foundations, jacket structures, and cable protections. He obtained his doctoral degree from Ghent University. At Deltares, his work closely relates to offshore renewable energy, which supports the Moonshot of energy transition. His contributions include supporting research initiatives on sustainable offshore infrastructure and working on improving the design and assessment methods for scour protection. He is passionate about continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Projects:
- PROTEUS project (Hydralab+ project under Horizon 2020 framework)
- Joint-Industry-Project HaSPro
- Various offshore wind consultancy projects
