About Trang Dinh
Trang Dinh is currently the Country Coordinator and Representative for Deltares in Indochina region (Vietnam, Lao PDR and Cambodia) and based in Hanoi, Vietnam. She has worked for Deltares since 2014 as an experienced project coordinator and advisor on operational water systems.
Trang obtained her Bachelor of Environmental Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology and her Master of Integrated Water Resources Management at the Cologne University of Applied Science (Germany). With 15 years working in the field of water resources and disaster risk management in Indochina, her expertise ranges from project management and coordination, project monitoring & evaluation, project procurement, and technically water resources monitoring and related information & database system.
Her knowledge and experience are intensively diversified as she used to work for several local/regional enterprises as Project Manager for a regional supplier of monitoring & database systems for hydro-met observations and environmental quality in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, where she gained a lot of experiences in hydro-met & water resources monitoring station network. With her strong knowledge, she provided a great contribution in reviewing and giving advices on system integration of hydro-met monitoring network in many projects at Deltares.
Since 2018, she works also as Delft-FEWS Operational Water Management System Advisor, together with Deltares international team to develop, operate and provide 1st line technical support for live water-related data/information, forecasting and early warning systems in Asia. She is currently the focal contact person for Product Development & Technical Support of our Delft – FEWs platforms for Indochina region.
