Deltares at the Stockholm World Water Week 2024
Deltares experts will be in attendance and will host several sessions during the Stockholm Water Week 2024, which takes place from 25 – 29 August. A key event for the international water sector, this year’s Water Week’s theme is: Bridging Borders: Water for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future.
Stockholm Water Week
The Stockholm World Water Week is a leading annual event on global water issues, organised by Stockholm International Water Institute since 1991.
This year, the Stockholm World Water Week focuses on the regional and global interconnectivity of communities and nations, and underscores the collaborative effort needed to achieve a peaceful and sustainable future.
Deltares echoes this call. As an institute for applied research, we are at the intersection of science and implementation. We recognise the necessity to connect levels, stakeholders, and areas of expertise. Together with our partners, we are active in the preparations for the Stockholm Water Week, including in the preparation of seminars and sessions, and bringing disruptive topics to the discussion such as talking about failures.
