New edition of Deltalife: effects of climate change
Our latest edition of our corporate magazine 'Deltalife' just came out. Climate change is the challenging context for our knowledge, system analyses and the exploration of action perspectives for integrated water management.
In this issue of Deltalife, we look at how we can continue to keep life pleasant in our deltas throughout the world. We talk to Valérie Masson-Delmotte, a climate scientist with the IPCC Working Group. She talks passionately about building for the future and deploying tools to assess and limit climate risks.
This issue also looks at flood-resilient landscapes and heat stress in the city. And we report from the Delta Basin, where we are testing the impact of North Sea waves on a hybrid energy island and investigating how we can detect floating plastic waste from space.
