How can I print a file on my own (local) printer?
You can print on a local printer using the VMware Horizon client. This needs to be installed on your computer. Please read the manual for more information.
Calculation takes longer than I expected. What can I do?
When you perform a calculation of a project that is stored on your local computer, it might be slow or result in an error message. This is because interim results are saved on your computer via the internet connection. We recommend storing current projects on the server for performing calculations and storing archive projects on your computer.
My firewall is blocking the connection to the server. Which ports should I open?
All of the used ports can be found on this VMware website, when visiting the website, a zip-file will be downloaded.
Common errors are caused if these ports are closed:
9427 TCP Client drive redirection
22443 TCP and UDP VMware Blast Extreme protocol; or
4172 TCP and UDP PCoIP protocol
I have an Apple computer. Can I use Online Software?
Yes, the Online Software platform is an internet application. It works independently of your hardware system. Please be aware that Deltares can only offer support on Windows systems.
Can I use Online Software on my mobile phone?
Yes, the Online Software platform is an internet application. It works independently of your hardware system. However, the Geotechnical simulation products are not designed for use on small mobile devices. The screen might be too small for sufficient overview. Please be aware that Deltares can only offer support on Windows systems.
