Scour protection handbook

The aim of scour protection is to keep the seabed around an offshore foundation in place. At present, there are no design guidelines and so scour protection designs vary widely. With the focus on cost reductions in offshore wind energy, Deltares is investigating guidelines for the design of scour protection in combination with the entire value chain of the offshore wind industry in the Joint Industry Project HaSPro (Handbook Scour Protection Methods).
