Over Laura Nougues

Laura Nouguès currently works as a junior researcher/advisor in the Urban Water and Subsurface department of Deltares. Within this department she focuses on land subsidence, peat oxidation, and soil health. She contributes largely to projects for the EU commission related to the European Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’ and to the Dutch National Research Programme on Greenhouse Gases in Peatlands (NOBV). Since the beginning of January 2023, Laura is part of the Platform BodemBeheer organizing committee, a platform which facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of soil management by organizing a symposium up to three times a year. In 2021 Laura received her MSc from Delft University of Technology in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Water Management. After completing her studies, Laura started her position at Deltares.
